Lifestraws for Peru

In early April, Peru’s government declared a state of emergency in Loreto due to the Amazon River flooding, the worst in three decades. Over 190,000 people have either lost their homes or suffered significant damage in the flooding.

Last week, we graciously received a donation for 125 LifeStraws by Metropolitan United Church in Ontario, Canada. Coincidentally, Michelle Loyo from Refuge Ministries International contacted us around the same time the LifeStraws were donated, wanting to partner with us to assist the flood victims in Peru. What a blessing it was for God to put the pieces together!

Michelle and Refuge Ministries International will be heading to Peru later this month to deliver the LifeStraws, which provides safe drinking water. Please pray for the people of Peru and Refuge Ministries International as they travel to Peru to help the victims. If you would like to make a donation for LifeStraws, please contact Sean Lawrence.
