Toy Drive
We are so excited to continue our Toy Drive tradition for the fifth straight year! This is an amazing opportunity and we look forward to any and all support you can give to this endeavor. Here are the details:
We send out a Christmas wish list to each of the students on our We’ve Got Your Back program. They fill it out and return it to GCHope and we make it available to anyone who wants to sponsor a wish list. We expect to have around 1,300 wish lists that will need sponsoring, so please let us know if you would like one.
In addition, we want to give gifts to the siblings of students on our program. Since we won’t have wishlists for most of them, we are also accepting donations of toys for all ages. Last year we gave out around 3,000 presents to children around Orange County and expect that number to be around 4,000 this year!!!
Once we have received all donated presents, we have several dates for Volunteers to come and wrap the presents here at our facility in Buena Park. We are asking Volunteer Wrappers to either sponsor a wish list, bring in a donated toy or bring in a monetary donation of your choice. Space for these Wrapping Parties is limited so sign up by emailing our Volunteer Coordinator, Drew ASAP.
**The last school distribution is December 21st, so please get toys to us soon as possible. We will be taking toys until December 20th.**
