Volunteer at GCH!
There are a number of different opportunities to Volunteer with Giving Children Hope. We would be honored if you considered us for your next volunteer event. We are open from Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. We accommodate individuals and groups up to 100 all throughout the week. In addition, we open for Saturday and evening volunteer events on an as needed basis.
Before you schedule a time to volunteer, please try to attend one our orientations. Our orientations are only an hour in length and they take place at our main address. This is a good time for you to:
1. Complete a Volunteer Application or a Student Volunteer Application for volunteers under age 18.
2. Learn more about the history of Giving Children Hope and how YOU can make a difference.
3. Meet other volunteers.
4. Receive a tour of our 43,000 sq. foot facility.
5. Discuss your schedule and set up your first volunteer appointment.
Please let Drew, our Volunteer Coordinator, know which orientation you will be able to attend. You can either email him or you can call at (714) 523-4454 × 116.
Please see the calendar below for the schedule of our orientations and Saturday events.

I work full time but have a few days off in the summer. I would like to bring my 6 year old to help put backpacks together to for children in need. I was wondering which days and times are best for this. Do you require a minimum amount of time or days for this program? Thank you for your feedback.
Kind Regards,
Corinne Costa
Hi Corinne,
Our youngest Volunteer is 4 weeks old =). There are definitely some things that your 6-year-old would not be able to do, but we still want him/her to come and to help out with you.
We don’t require specific hours or days. Any time that you can give would be great!
